I offer in-home newborn sessions only. On rare occasions I will do an in-studio newborn shoot, but it will still have an "at home" feel to it. I do not do posed newborn sessions at all.

I like to start by reassuring any new moms and dads that when I come to your home I am fully expecting a mess. Listen, if you have a newborn baby and a completely spotless house, you're going to make me feel really bad about myself, because I can never keep my house clean, and I dont have the excuse of a new child keeping me on my toes 24/7.
All I need are a couple of spots (that have good natural light) to be a bit decluttered, and if you didn't get to it, dont worry, I will. Some main rooms I like to mention are, the living room, the master bedroom and the nursery, but you know your house best, so look for the windows!
I think it's also important for you to know that I would never enter your home if I wasn't feeling 100%. The last thing I want to do is expose your brand new baby to a cold or flu.
As for outfits,
I do not have any newborn outfits I can bring. I want to capture your family as authentically as I can, which means you need to dress your little one in their wardrobe.
Some outfits I like to recommend having ready,
A white onesie
A sleeper or 2
A knotted sleep sack if you have one
Any little outfits that you love
Toques or headbands are always a nice addition!
And of course your favorite little blanket or 2
Avoid anything that is super bright or that has logos, so that the attention stays on your little one.
